How to order  

To get started, select the size, finish, and border that you want for your image. If you need help with these options, simply refer to the corresponding section headings further down the page.

Next, you can easily upload your image by browsing for it on your device or dragging and dropping it from a folder on your computer. Make any necessary adjustments to the rotation and cropping for a flawless print, then click ‘Upload’. Please wait while the image uploads to our system in the background – it’s important not to navigate away from the product page during this process.

Once your image is uploaded, simply add it to your basket and move on to the next image or print size that you need. It’s that easy!

  

Dispatch times

We’ll aim to dispatch your photo prints within two working days of your order, so you won’t have to wait long to hold your precious memories in your hands.

These prints make great gifts for loved ones or for displaying in your home, allowing you to cherish and celebrate special moments in a beautiful and meaningful way.

 

Postage and shipping

Please note that due to the delicate nature of prints, we will ship them separately to other items ordered from our warehouse and lab.

There is a small flat shipping charge for all print orders.

Please note that where the ratio of the print does not match the natural ratio of the film format then you will be able to adjust the crop after uploading your image.

 

 

Which is better: matte or gloss?

Choosing between matte and gloss is a matter of personal preference, and there is no right or wrong answer. However, we can offer some helpful guidance to make your decision easier.

If you prefer a natural and classic look, then matte is a great choice. This finish allows the subtle texture and feel of the paper to come through and delivers slightly less contrast than a glossy print. It’s ideal for photos where you want to maintain the natural look and feel of the image, and it’s perfect for framing behind glass or plastic.

On the other hand, if you want to boost the colour and contrast of your photos and add a layer of protection against scratches and creases, then gloss is the way to go. This finish adds a shiny coating to the paper, but keep in mind that fingerprints and scratches will be more noticeable. Gloss is perfect for prints that you plan to display without a glass cover.

It’s worth noting that matte is sometimes spelled as “matt” and gloss as “glossy”, but they are interchangeable terms, so don’t worry about getting the spelling exactly right.

 

How long will the prints last?

Our photo prints will last up to 100 years without losing colour or contrast* – much longer than social media accounts or iCloud passwords!

*100 years is guidance for photos kept dry and dark e.g. in a photo album. If placed in constant light, particularly direct sunlight, then your photo may start to fade earlier.

 

Our equipment: how do we print your photos?

Your poster prints will be produced using our state-of-the-art Epson SureLab D300 professional dry lab printer, manufactured by the renowned printing brand Epson known for their exceptional quality and reliability.

The SureLab D3000 is a high-precision machine featuring an Epson Micro Piezo print head with VSDT technology, capable of producing resolutions up to 1440x1440dpi with superior half tones, precise color and density control, surpassing lower-end Epson models.

Our printer delivers outstanding colour accuracy and vibrancy thanks to Epson UltraChrome D6 ink, while a media output heater ensures prints that are dry to the touch, with a high depth, vivid colour, and durable finish. You can trust that your photos will look their best when printed on our Epson SureLab D300.

The paper we use is SpectraJet 250g/m² for a premium finish and a print that has the correct weight and feel for a long-lasting premium print.

We use the official Epson inks (T7 range) for high fidelity and accurate colour reproduction.

 

Do you make enhancements or edits to my image?

No – we take great care to ensure that your photos are translated faithfully through our software and printed with the utmost accuracy. Our advanced technology and rigorous quality control measures ensure that your images look their best.
